Resident Evil 7 - Biohazard is OUT!!!

Ok, if 17 years ago when I started trying to record stuff on a 4 track Tascam cassete recorder, someone told me that I would be part of the team responsible for one of my favorite video-game franchises, I would say that was just crazy talk.

But it is true... thanks to the fact that my friend Brian D'Oliveira was invited to create some "music" pieces for the game, I was the one responsible for getting those tracks ready for the game, taking care of the mixing and mastering.

If you noticed, I put the word music between commas because it was not JUST music... Those pieces were designed to scare you. To make you uncomfortable. True fear catalysts. And listening to them for hours and hours, was a very....... well, let me put it like this: interesting experience :)

Some pieces were 100% Brian's vision, some pieces were a collaboration between Brian and the audio team at CAPCOM Japan.

All tracks that Brian recorded were conceptualized to be binaurally encoded. So, yes, you should definitely play the game with headphones ;)

Also, after the music cues were delivered and a few months before the release, I was asked to mix and prepare some tracks for the Deluxe Package sound track that will be available for the fans as well. Very cool stuff!

I am VERY happy to be part of this project and I can't wait to play the whole game!!!
